Frequently Asked Questions

ECGRF does not currently accept funding applications. ECGRF was established through the initiative of ECGI directors and members to provide regular and long-term support to the  European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI)  so as to:

  • stimulate and reward the production of research studies and other academic work of excellence in corporate governance, by commissioning them or by awarding prizes;
  • organise and disseminate research in corporate governance by means of conferences, publications and websites;
  • award research fellowships to distinguished researchers in the field of corporate governance;
  • promote and support research in corporate governance by the award of doctoral scholarships.

With adequate resources, it is possible that ECGRF may fund other applicants in the future.

Donations to ECGRF are applied generally to the research activities of ECGI. It is not possible to specify the activity to which your donation will apply. However there are corporate sponsorship opportunities available for a number of ECGI initiatives and projects. Please contact us to inform us of your preferences, without obligation.
