Leading Research Publications

The European Corporate Governance Institute supports an international network of leading academics who contribute independent scientific research on Corporate Governance related matters. These publications are central to the ongoing work of the Institute and through the Foundation, ECGRF underpins this valuable work by supporting the administration and promotion of this important research. The researchers are recognised as leaders in their fields, with notable ECGI Fellow, Jean Tirole having won a Nobel Economics Prize in 2014.

To date there are over 760 working papers on a broad range of corporate governance topics, including Shareholder Activism, Executive Remuneration, Board Diversity, Social Capital, Takeover Directive, Corporate Mobility, and many more.
